WELCOME TO THE HUB

Welcome to our versatile Haven for Upliftment and Belonging! For six years, the HUB was a place for Muslim women to connect, reflect and grow together. In 2025, we opened the doors to an even bigger space to build upon our vision. Our HUB is a dynamic space designed for collaboration and creativity, perfect for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and small events.

Reservations

All of our spaces are available for reservation to MWO paid members.  Click below to become a member today!

Two week’s notice is highly recommended for the first reservation. All reservations require an in-person site visit and signed contract before confirmation.  Subsequent bookings can be made at least 24 hours in advance, but no more than 3 months in advance to allow for organizational event scheduling.

SPACES

Cafe - Are you looking for a comfy spot to gather? Our living room style cafe space is perfect for studying, working, small meetings, casual meetups or get-togethers with friends. It can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests and features a cozy lounge area, plus a cafe area to serve your group. 

Private office - Are you looking for a quiet, focused place to get work done? Our private desk area is a simple, professional space designed for focus, comfort and privacy.  It is ideal for remote work, administrative tasks, break out sessions or client meetings. This space includes a desk with a comfortable office chair, a desktop computer and screen, and a small table with seating for up to two clients. 

Gathering Room - Planning for a larger gathering? Our spacious gathering room is a versatile space offering the perfect balance of comfort, functionality and community. It is ideal for parties, large meetings, workshops, study circles, clothing exhibitions, fitness or other classes, and even movie nights. The space comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests with classroom-style seating and offers flexibility for a variety of events.  This room includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and small stove. Furnishings included with the reservation are 30 folding chairs, 16 bistro style chairs, 8 small folding tables, 2 larger folding tables, a dining table with seating for 8, and a cozy fireplace. A separate reflection room is available for added convenience, as well as a comfortable lounge area for resting, a TV for presentations or movie nights and ample room to gather with ease.  

Shared desk - Are you looking for a supportive and comfortable part-time workspace? Our shared desk space is designed for muslim women professionals seeking a quiet office setting up to three days a week. The space is ideal for focused work, personal projects or creative tasks.  The desk is located in a comfortable collaborative workspace, and includes a desk with a comfortable office chair, a smart TV, a printer, and desk-side space  for personal belongings. It is thoughtfully designed to balance functionality and ease.  The space allows you to work with focus in a welcoming environment.  

Full HUB - Are you looking for a versatile space for your event or work needs? Our entire facility, except for spaces specifically designated for MWO work, is available for reservation. It offers the perfect mix of comfort, functionality and community. Whether you are planning parties, workshops, large meetings, convenings, study sessions or coworking days. The space can accommodate a variety of needs and groups.  The full space includes: Cafe area, Private desk area, Gathering room, Kitchen, Reflection room, and outdoor spaces (includes front yard and back lot). Staff offices are not included in this reservation and Team MWO reserves the right to access their private spaces during any event, without disturbing the guests.

General Amenities: All reservations include high speed internet, a free hour of set up and clean up time, and free parking.  Coffee, tea, and refreshments are available for shared desk and private office users during regular business hours.  Use of coffee machines and other appliances for private events requires prior approval.

Note:  Half day reservations are four consecutive hours and full day reservations are eight consecutive hours within the designated HUB availability. These are introductory rates, prices subject to change.

Reservation guidelines and considerations:

  • All reservations are subject to availability and must be approved  by MWO staff. An initial meeting is required to confirm any  reservation.. 

  • To avoid scheduling conflicts, please include setup time and clean-up time in your reservation request. You will only be charged for your event hours. 

  • A $250 refundable security deposit, or credit card on file, is required at the time of application for any accidental damage or cleaning purposes

  • As a 501(c)(3) organization, MWO is strictly prohibited from participating in or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office. Use of this space for campaign-related fundraising, political meetings, or distribution of campaign literature is prohibited. 

  • Payments must be received, and contracts signed, for the reservation to be finalized.. 

  • MWO members may still use event spaces at the HUB during open hours, however, but if there is a paid reservation in one of the spaces, they will not have exclusive access, and may be asked to move to accommodate the reservation.

  • To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before an event.  Failure to do so, will result in 50% of the fees being refunded.

  • All reservation fees directly contribute to the operation and sustainability of the space. Upon request, flexible pricing may be available based on the reservation details and the nature of the activity.
