International Women’s Day was created to honor the movement for women's rights and to build international support for the hard work of women. This Ramadan, support initiatives and spaces that build sisterhood and bring joy to Muslim women searching for a welcoming community. The MWO team is made up of 40 women who work hard every single day to coordinate 16 programs. Your donation helps them continue to do what they do so well.
Ramadan is a time for community and giving. By supporting the Muslim Women's Organization (MWO) this month, you’re investing in sisterhood, community, and the future of Muslim women in Orlando. Your contributions through the MWO are Zakat eligible and tax deductible.

Help create spaces where Muslim women thrive
Building Sisterhood, Spreading Joy. Running a successful organization requires ongoing investment, especially during Ramadan. The cost to operate a thriving MWO is approximately $10,000 per month. This includes the rent for the new MWO HUB, a space made by women for women, and all of the unseen but necessary expenses that sustain it.

$50 → Pays for one month’s lawn care
$100 → Helps keep our coffee and drinks station stocked
$150 → Covers the cost of internet at the HUB
$250 → Pays for HUB Utilities (water and power)
$500 → Covers monthly cleaning and maintenance expenses

Zakat eligible programs that support Central Florida Muslim families in need by providing Community Assistance for Ramadan and Eid (CARE).
