The GEMS Summit 2026

Saturday, August 29th, 2026 | Althea Lake Nona

As Genuinely Empowered Muslim Sisters (GEMS!), we continue the legacy of our foremothers, like Khadijah, the Mother of the Believers. We lead in businesses, organizations and schools. Simultaneously, we sustain our families and community with our vital work as caregivers of the previous and next generations.

Since 2019, the GEMS Summit has provided an opportunity and space to break down some of the barriers between our efforts, to bring the women of our community together to find strength, wisdom and inspiration from one another.  Alongside the Summit, the Muslim Women’s Safety Coalition, that is being implemented with the generous support of Islamic Relief USA, has hosted collaborative Town Hall discussions about issues impacting Muslim women.  Through the connections made, resources shared, and knowledge gained, we hope to foster a community where no Muslim woman feels alone or powerless.

This year’s theme: “Unstoppable: Reclaiming Our Power”

This year, we will focus on the ways our Most Powerful Creator has granted power to each of us to make a difference in our families, businesses and community. We will focus on how we can come together as women, and as a community, to grow in our leadership.  We know we cannot create a perfect world, but by coming together, we can create a community where women are empowered to make a difference in the following ways:

  • SELF-LEADERSHIP: Taking control of your own life and finding clarity and strength to care for yourself as you care for those you love.

  • PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP: Navigating life as a business leader or in the corporate world, while centering your values as a Muslim woman

  • COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP: Building the power needed to challenge the status quo and create change in your community as a transformational leader.

PARTNER WITH US!

Sponsorship Opportunities

We believe that our community needs to come together to create the change we hope to see, none of us can do it alone. It requires recognizing and supporting the individuals and institutions that have been saving the lives of women in our own community.  It also requires investment from generous funders and community partners who are aligned with our vision of a compassionate community where Muslim women are uplifted, influential and fully actualized in every space they enter.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Regardless of whether you are a business owner, a foundation, a service provider, a professional, or a nonprofit organization, you have the opportunity to invest and engage in the Muslim Women’s Summit in meaningful ways.

Partner organizations and funders provide vital financial support in exchange for an opportunity to engage with the Muslim women of Central Florida, the organizations that serve them and their networks. All levels include at least TWO attendees for the Summit, a social media shoutout, and their promotional products in swag bags.

Vendor Opportunities

Women-led businesses and organizations are invited to share their products and services with our attendees as a vendor.  This year vendors will focus on services that strengthen women and their businesses/organizations (Ex: Coaching, financial planning, attorneys, accounting, marketing, education, etc…). Vendor tables will be located throughout the venue and attendees will be able to stop by between sessions from 9am through 2:45pm.  Vendors are welcome to participate in sessions.  All vendors receive ONE free registration, one 6 ft rectangle table, and one chair.

The following vendor levels are available, depending upon the size of your business:
