Sow Sisters: Planting & Connection
It’s time for another heARTwork excursion! heARTwork is all about building sisterhood and community through fun experiences and activities, either at our HUB, or around town.
Join us for a serene and soulful event inspired by Rabi‘ al-Awwal — the “First Spring” of the Islamic calendar, a time of renewal, mercy, and deep spiritual growth. This sacred month marks the blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, whose life was a perfect example of compassion, generosity, and service to others.
As the earth softens for new growth, so do our hearts. Let’s come together in sisterhood to plant healing herbs, reflect on the beauty of the Prophet’s ﷺ character, and learn practical ways to increase blessings (barakah) in our lives through:
Hands-on herb planting – a symbolic act of sowing goodness.
Reflections on the Seerah (life of the Prophet ﷺ).
Discussions on acts that bring barakah – like charity, service & kindness.
Sisterhood bonding and light refreshments.
Whether you're new to herbal care or just seeking a deeper spiritual connection this month, this event is a gentle space to grow—body, heart, and soul.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED & SPACE IS LIMITED! We will close registration when we reach capacity.
