Between Faith & Family: When the People We Love Aren’t Muslim

A Convert Connections conversation on aging parents, illness, loss, and navigating the fear of losing someone we love outside of Islam.

For many converts, accepting Islam can bring a unique reality, deeply loving parents, grandparents, and family members who may not share our faith.

As our loved ones grow older, become ill, or face the end of life, difficult questions and emotions can arise. How do we continue honoring and caring for them? How do we cope with the fear of losing someone we love who is not Muslim? What does Islam teach us about our responsibilities, our du'as, grief, and the things that are ultimately outside of our control?

Join us for a special Convert Connections gathering as we have an honest and compassionate conversation about faith, family, illness, aging, and loss.

Whether you are currently walking through this experience, have experienced it before, or simply want to better understand how to navigate it when the time comes, you are welcome.

Join us in person for tea, coffee, and light snacks, or virtually via Zoom.
